“Vallières: Au travers de la route” is a road movie through the Eastern Townships, taking in Asbestos and the surrounding area, and an old Sherbrooke garage where Vincent and his friends first jammed... A postcard that pays homage to our land, our roads, our forests, our sunsets and our snow-capped mountains, which have inspired Vincent so much in the course of his songs. These 60 heartwarming, intimate minutes are like a large quilt, combining musical performances in places of significance to the singer, on-camera confidences, archival footage recounting the artist's colorful last 25 years, cameos from his family and close friends, and a host of memories to celebrate Vallières' special relationship with us, his public.
