Marie-Christine Lavoie opens her new home to Canal Vie viewers – a summer house in the country that she has owned for several years but until now rented out… Located in the Laurentian Mountains north of Montreal, this second home will be undergoing a total makeover! We follow Marie-Christine as she spends the series attempting to upgrade her décor the smart way. The goal? To make it a truly exotic corner of paradise with many design elements inspired by India and Indonesia. Ever enthusiastic, Marie-Christine explains the steps she had to take in India and Indonesia to track down and/or create the accessories and pieces of furniture that have now found a new home in her second home.
