Marc Hervieux – Un Air d’hiver – MUSIC

While decorating the family Christmas tree and listening to seasonal music, Marc Hervieux wondered how Christmas should be sung today, with new melodies and lyrics. The challenge inspired him so much that he put together a group of extraordinarily talented fellow musicians and produced the magnificent album entitled Un air d’hiver (A Winter’s Tune) featuring 11 original songs and a new version of a well-loved carol! The album’s central theme is the joy of being together: “Christmas really took on new meaning in my life through my three daughters. I had almost forgotten how magical it can be,” explained Marc. “As long as we’re together, I love Christmas! The warmth of family gatherings and the joy of being together runs through all these songs. It’s a welcome change from the hymns of my youth.”
