Deux sœurs et un duplex

Valérie and Andrée-Anne Chevalier are embarking on a massive real estate project. The two sisters are buying a duplex together and renovating it from top to bottom so that they can live in the very same way, one on top of the other. Valérie will live upstairs in a space that she sees as contemporary, minimalist, and inspired by her many travels and the latest in designing trends. Andrée-Anne will live downstairs with her daughter in what she hopes will be a colourlul, lively family space that’s also well suited to her needs as a self-employed single mother. But the task is daunting indeed. The duplex, built in 1910, will first have to undergo a major facelift before they can move in. The two sisters forge ahead with the architect and contractor by their side, ready to face the many surprising twists and turns an adventure of this magnitude often entails.
