A dog's life

A Dog’s Life follows the day-to-day life of canine behaviour consultant Mathieu Lavallée at his wilderness-based treatment centre. It’s the perfect setting for the somewhat rebellious trainer and his work in highlighting the true nature of dogs and their needs in order to better understand our relationship with them and to rethink our canine education and training methods.

The series provides a close-up look at the many different events that punctuate life at the centre from season to season. Working in close collaboration with animal experts from other fields, Lavallée shares his knowledge and extensive experience on various themes, including the environment and freedom, aggression, obedience, health, and trauma while debunking certain myths and popular beliefs as he goes along.
