Vivre ensemble

In a world that is perceived as more and more individualistic in nature, there are those among us who have chosen to share, cultivate, teach, work, grow old, or simply live together...the dream and utopia. Nowadays, community life initiatives are becoming more and more numerous and are being contemplated by groups of all ages, origins, and socio-economic backgrounds that share common values. The documentary series presents three types of communal living: Among Friends, Among Women, and Among Generations. Comparisons and reconciliations are made between what is found here in Quebec and what has been developed elsewhere, whether in England, Denmark, or Germany.
