Bull Jumping
This documentary film tells the story of top-performing French athlete Emmanuel Lataste, who risks life and limb every time he enters the arena. His sport, still little known on this side of the pond, consists of confronting a bull and dodging his powerful charge by way of acrobatic somersault. It’s called “course landaise”. Emmanuel is the first to try to garner attention in North America for this sport (which he has dubbed “bull jumping”) that combines athletics and rodeo. He puts on a breathtaking show! Will Americans fall for this extreme sport from the South of France?
