Voulez-vous danser? (Do You Want To Dance?) is a fun, insightful exploration of the dance moves that get Quebecers off their couches and onto the dance floor! Former professional dancer Geneviève Guérard is the ideal host for this documentary series, meeting fans of all kinds of dance styles and the communities that gave birth to them. Through inspirational and enlightening interviews with Canadian dance specialists who share their love for the current episode’s featured dance, we learn in depth about its history, as well as its social and cultural impact. Each episode of Voulez-vous danser? is also an opportunity for the host herself to be taught the rhythms, steps and artistry of a new dance by a partner who is already an old hand at it, all for the immense enjoyment of the viewers at home!
