Trick or treat

Trick or Treat is the television adaptation of the play by writer and actor Jean Marc Dalpé. It's a powerful story about the loss of human values, the disintegration of a family, obsession with power and money, humiliation, ambition and betrayal. The action begins on Halloween. Ben, a man in his late forties and a small-time local hoodlum, is alone minding the store at the Bereczky et Fils appliance repair shop when in walks 15-year-old Mike, who has just been "taxed". He tries to get Ben to sell him a gun so that he can be ready for his next encounter with the bullies. When Cracked shows up, however, things take an ugly turn and Mike finds himself involved in a fast-paced game with rules he cannot comprehend…
