Le dernier match de la vie

The documentary trilogy Le dernier match de la vie (The End-game of Life) shows how people die today in Quebec – how our health system "manages" or provides a framework for the process of dying and death. Hosted by Claude Charron and bearing the stamp of his reassuring warmth and human touch, the series takes viewers to various sites – hospitals, residences, long-term healthcare facilities – where we see a cross-section of Quebecers of all ages and from all backgrounds who are directly or indirectly touched by death and who, each in his or her own way, is proceeding along life's final stretch.
